Short Story Competition

On the occasion of the fifth ENSFR conference on ‘Short Fiction as Humble Fiction’ that will take place at Paul-Valéry Montpellier3, University, France, on October 17th-19th, 2019, EMMA is organizing a short fiction competition in English on the themes and figures of the ‘humble’.

To be eligible all you need is to be a student at Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3.

Prizes totalling 750 euros funded by the DRIF, UFR2 and the English Department will be awarded to the best story (or two best stories), which will be read on the short story reading evening organized during the conference with established writers.

Submissions, in English, must be unpublished stories of no longer than 2500 words. They should be sent in WORD format with your name and student ID card number to Jean-Michel Ganteau (jean-michel.ganteau@univ-montp3.fr) and Christine Reynier (christine.reynier@univ-montp3.fr)
