IMPORTANT covid 19 :
Due to the current health pandemic, and following a wide consultation within our institution, we regret to inform you that we have decided to postpone all incoming and outgoing mobilities, for the first semester 2020/21 (Fall semester).
Student mobilities initially planned for the 1st semester of the academic year 2020/2021 can be postponed to the 2nd semester or even to the following year.

 

Bilateral Fee-paying Program students (For Bowling Green State University, Loyola University, Manhattanville College, SUNY Geneseo, University of Arizona, University of Technology - Sydney, University of Washington, College of William & Mary.

  • Students from these universities have access to integrated classes at UPVM and to the Cours RI (support classes).
  • They can be housed in residence halls/dorms or in a family (Homestay or Boarding)

 

     

    Bilateral Exchange Students (For Concordia University,  Delhi University, EFLU (Hyderabad), Emory University, Humboldt State University, Pune University,  RMIT (Melbourne), University of Cape Town, University of Victoria).

    • Students from these universities have only access to integrated classes at UPVM.
    • They can be housed in residence halls/dorms or in a family (Homestay or Boarding).

     

    Bilateral student with onsite director (For Mount Holyoke College - MHC, University of Minnesota (Minneapolis)- UMN and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill- UNC).  Your primary contacts will be respectively Amy Loth (MHC), Françoise Chaton (UMN) and Carol Huber (UNC)

    • Students from MHC, UMN and UNC have access to integrated classes at UPVM and to the Cours RI (support classes).
    • They will have to find accommodation with their director onsite in their Montpellier office.

     

    ISEP Direct students

    • Students in the ISEP Direct program will take their courses at IEFE depending on their level of French for which they will have to be tested.
    • They also have access to the integrated classes of UPVM and the Cours RI (support classes) if their French level and schedule permits.

     

    ISEP Exchange students

    • Students from this program have access to integrated classes at UPVM (a minimum of 2 classes is required) and Cours RI (support classes).
    • They will be housed in residence halls/dorms.
    • ISEP Exchange students will receive a stipend.
    • They are advised to bring at least 1 or 2 months spending money. Stipends may be paid in 2 installments per semester.

     

       

       

      1 - How to register on MoveOnline ?

      This will complete your application and generate your acceptance letter.
      The deadline for the Moveon Application procedure to be completed is April 15 for Full-Year and Fall applicants and October 1 for Spring applicants. All the required documents must be uploaded by the applicable deadline.

      2 - How to register on Interlog

      Interlog will secure you a room at the dorms "Cité Universitaire". This procedure is complete when you have paid online a safety deposit "Caution".

      3- How to pay for housing in dorms during the semester?

      • Please note that accommodation has become challenging in Montpellier and finding housing remains your responsibility. We can help you with finding a family through our contacts.
      • A 4.5 month package is proposed to students coming for a year-round or a semester-long mobility (Fall or Spring) and who request accommodation in a university residence (dorms). Payments will be made in one or two instalments per semester:
        • Students coming for a one-year mobility have access to their accommodation from August 26 to May 31.
        • Students coming for the Fall semester have access to their accommodation from August 26 and are even able to stay in the dormitories until January 15 if they wish.
        • Students coming in the Spring semester will have access to their accommodation from January 16 to May 31.
      • If you are staying in dorms, please refer to section 2 concerning Interlog.
      • You will find the rates for this "Stay package" in the Student Guide.

      Arrival

      You have to arrive in Montpellier September 03 , 2020 at the latest

      Orientation

      • Administrative orientation: September 03 , 2020 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm. (Ionesco Building, room 101A)
      • Academic orientation: September 03 , 2020 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm. (Ionesco Building, room 101A)
      • Sessions to finalize the choice of courses:  September 08 and September 09, 2020 10:00 am - 12:30 am / 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm, (BN6).

      Attention: all students will be required to go to the special individual sessions for choosing / finalizing the choice of courses. You will be told what slot will be yours when you are in Montpellier.

       

      SPRING SEMESTER STUDENTS

      Arrival

      You have to arrive in Montpellier no later than January 18, 2021
      For students who will be staying in dorms, their room will be available from January 16.

      Orientation

      • Administrative and Academic orientation: January 19, 2021 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm, F Building, room 105.
      • Sessions to finalize the choice of courses: January 20, 2021 10:00 am - 12:30 am / 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm, (room TBA). You will be told what slot will be yours when you are in Montpellier. 

      Attention: all students will be required to go to the special individual sessions for choosing / finalizing the choice of courses.

            Attention: ISEP-D students, if interested in taking integrated classes at the university will be required to go to the special individual sessions for choosing / finalizing the choice of courses on September 9 and September 10, 10:00 am - 12:30 am / 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm, (BN6). You will be told what slot will be yours when you are in Montpellier.
